| Summary: | This test measures the total hardness as grains per gallon of Calcium Carbonate. Uses the drop count method. |
| Instructions: | 1. Fill the vial with 20 ml of water. |
| 2. Add 1 spoonful of Hardness Powder. Mix until a uniform color appears | |
| Note: If the water is not blue then hardness is present. | |
| 3. Add Hardness Titrant one drop at a time while mixing until water becomes blue. | |
