Developmental Toxicity: COMPONENT G:This material, or a component, has been shown to cause harm to the fetus of lab animals and to pregnant animals. The relevance of these studies to humans is unknown.

Effects of Overexposure: INHALATION: Low concentrations may cause mild irritation of eyes, nose and throat. Concentrations above the TLV may result in headache and drowsiness.

INGESTION: Ingestion of large quantity may cause drowsiness and loss of consciousness. Stomach cramps, pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur.

SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged contact may cause drying and cracking of skin.

EYE CONTACT: Moderate irritation with possible corneal injury.

Chronic Effect: None currently known.

Emergency and First Aid Procedures: INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration-seek medical aid. If breathing is difficult, have trained personnel administer oxygen-seek medical aid.

INGESTION: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Contact a physician, medical facility or poison control center for advice about whether to induce vomiting. Obtain medical assistance.

SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing and flush skin thoroughly with cool running water.

EYE CONTACT: While gently holding lids apart, flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes. Call a physician.

Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Any person with a pre-disposition to sensitivity may be

more susceptible to substance effects. Section VI: Reactivity Data

Stable.

Conditions to Avoid:

Heat, flame and sources of sparks.

Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid):

Acids, halogens and halogen compounds.

Hazardous Decomposition Products:

Burning may produce carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide.

Hazardous Polymerization:

Will not occur.

Section VII: Spill or Leak Procedures

Steps to be taken in case of release or spill:

Ventilate area and remove all sources of ignition. Wear protective clothing and equipment as indicated in Section IV. Use an absorbent material such as sand, sawdust, or vermiculite to absorb small spills or any leakage that cannot be recovered for recycling. Do not use equipment that may generate heat or sparks to recover spills. Wash area thoroughly with water after recovering material.

Waste Disposal Method:

To be performed in compliance with all current local, state and federal regulations. Spills onto sand, soil, or other absorbent may be handled by placing the affected soil into approved containers then label and store for proper treatment or disposal.

Section VIII: Special Protection Information

NIOSH-MSHA approved air-supplied respirator as needed to remain under TLVs.

Ventilation:

Well-ventilated area or fume hood.

Protective gloves:

Plastic

Eye protection:

Goggles

Other Protective Equipment:

Laboratory clothing, eye bath and safety shower.

Section IX: Special Precautions
