SOFTENER REGENERATION INSTRUCTIONS

(recommended after 10 demonstrations)

 

1. Dissolve 1 cup of rock salt (not table salt) into a quart of water.
2. Pour the salt-water into the softener through the faucet adapter.
3. Attach the faucet adapter to the sink.  Run water slowly through the softener for 30 minutes.
4. Run water rapidly through the softener until the water from the outlet tests soft.
